Donation policy

How we handle your gift, receipts and refunds.

Thank you for supporting Fidelstine Charity Concerns and Orphanage. This policy explains how online donations work.

How payments are processed

Until online card payments open, gifts can be made by bank transfer to our GTBank account or through PayPal. The details are on the Donate page. Please tell us after giving so we can confirm your gift and thank you.

When online payments open, they will be processed securely by Flutterwave. You can pay by card, bank transfer, USSD and, in some countries, mobile money. Flutterwave may show its own terms during checkout.

Currencies

You can give in several currencies, including naira, pounds, dollars and euros. Gifts may be converted into naira when they reach our account. Any conversion is done by Flutterwave or our bank at their rates.

Where your gift goes

If you choose a programme or campaign, such as the Christmas Scheme, we use your gift for that purpose. If a campaign raises more than it needs, or it can no longer go ahead, we will use the gift where it is needed most across our work.

Receipts

Flutterwave emails a payment receipt straight away. We also send a thank-you email confirming your gift. Please keep these for your records.

Refunds

If you made a mistake, for example donating the wrong amount, please contact us within 30 days with your payment reference. We will refund it in full. After 30 days, gifts may already have been spent and refunds are at our discretion.

Anonymous gifts

If you choose to give anonymously, we will never show your name publicly. We still keep your details privately for our financial records.

Fraud

We may refuse or refund any donation we believe is fraudulent, or that we cannot accept for legal or ethical reasons.
